Chris Meade, In search of Lost Tim
www.insearchoflosttim.net is a magical musical digital novella by Chris Meade. It’s about a boy in the 1960s, his alter ego, the superhero Lord Tim, adventurer in the 21st Century, and a woman at her laptop in 2008. Told in 30 blog pages including cartoons, songs and puppetry, it was described by The Independent on Sunday as “a jeu d’esprit and, just possibly, the future of fiction.” Chris will present sections of the novella using a Futurizer made of cardboard and balsa wood, the interweb, a ukulele and the puppet of Lost Tim. Then he will ask visitors to contribute their own writings and drawings of how they pictured the future when they were young for a paleofuturistic comic book.
