Victoria Walters - Emergency Conference (for Joseph Beuys)   This installation is a form of conversation with the German 20th century artist Joseph Beuys and a response to the critical tipping point we are facing with respect to climate change. Pots of flowers are installed on a table raised on a podium in the manner of a press conference, with table-top microphones set up by each to capture their ‘speech’. Transfusion tubes extend from the pots, transferring soil onto the ground.
