Our project, ‘Unlocked’ involves engaging audiences in discussion about mental health through art. Working within Glenside Hospital Museum, a former asylum, we aim to unlock the history of the objects in the collection, encouraging the audience to experience them in a new light.
This website serves as our journal over the time of the residency and to publicise up coming events. This site will also be a resource for anyone interested in the patient’s experience in the hospital or who wants to find out facts about the institution and our process in making artworks inspired by the museum exhibits.
